A pool with a view: A swimmer in the 24th storey pool in Shanghai - with nothing below him apart from a glass pane and a very big drop. The unique swimming baths, in the Holiday Inn hotel, Shanghai Pudong Kangqiao, are 30 metres long.

The new IE/ME building. Aabot kaya ako sa paggamit nito? Mukha naman kasi patapos na siya.

The Amazing Race S20E05 - Bavaria, Germany

Probably, one of the most fun Amazing Race episodes ever. This episode is very close to my heart with all the yodeling, fairy tales and beard styling that has happened. Also, it made me realize the strong impact of this side of Germany to the childhood story culture I grew up in.

WOOT.

The challenges were awesome and were great for television. This season gets better and better by the episode. I hope to enjoy Azerbaijan (an Amazing Race first) next week!

The Amazing Race S02E04 - Turin, Italy
I thought that this will be another boring episode because of the early tasks. The Road Block is too easy for me.
But, I think that the major challenge was to navigate the streets of Italy. I don’t think that they were ready for that. There were no street signs and a lot of the streets are one-way only.
The latter part of the episode made up for the lackluster first half. The detour was nice and, to some extent, funny. I must admit that one of the prides of The Amazing Race are the really challenging food tasks. I could not imagine myself going through 14 different types of salami and naming them all. I could have them all mixed up or, much worse, have them all taste the same.
I would have wanted to see the Shroud of Turin instead of an old model of a Ford car. It gives much more emphasis to the culture. But, hell, Ford is a sponsor and that Active Parking feature is just magnificent and cool.
The next episode looks really exciting and fun.
PS. I love Art & JJ’s gesture at the end with giving half of their leg winnings to Bopper & Mark. Nice work boys.
