I think that it’s just a matter of not shoving your opinions or beliefs down somebody’s throat.

If you don’t like Lady Gaga. Then, so be it. I agree that her music videos and performances are a bit too extreme. I like some of her songs because, as much as a her videos are extraordinary, they also contain lyrics that are true and reflective of our society today.

I do not believe that she is a representative of the devil or whatnot.

I think that what these protesters should understand is that they are not being coerced into watching her concert (or music videos), listening to her songs or buying her albums. And, I don’t think that it’s fair for the fans that the concert will be cancelled just because it’s against their beliefs.

Come on, you (Christian groups) can’t even pull people back into practicing their religion. Now, you ask them to just give up their tickets just so they could join you in your campaign?

It’s sad that I’m still at C-. However, I plan to make that map as blue as possible. I have two more places to visit in 2012 - Baler, Aurora and Cagayan de Oro. Could that possibly raise my grade?

But, grade consciousness aside, I still believe that before we try exploring foreign lands, it’s better to be familiar with our own. Some people have been to Europe and yet they haven’t seen the ruins of Corregidor or visited Paoay Church or have trekked in Sagada. There are a lot of National Heritage sites in the country and yet we’d look forward to visiting Seoul or Bangkok or Hong Kong.

But, there are always two sides to a story. I also believe that each community should help in the preservation of our cultures. We should build museums and other places where other people can learn more about the local culture. This may generate a lot more tourist for the said community.

Points for improvement:

• Larger area for the payment / processing areas. Hindi enough yung area para sa mga taong pinapapasok nila. Or, huwag muna sila magpapasok unless sufficient na yung area sa bilang ng tao.
• Produce another layout for the holding area. Kasi ang hirap i-navigate since isa lang yung aisle papunta sa payment / processing areas. Tapos sobrang siksik yung chairs at walang enough legroom for people to traverse the rows.
• Provide exclusive lines for multiple and single transactions. Ang malas mo lang kasi na isa lang yung ipo-process mo tapos napunta ka sa pila na ang mga mauuna sa iyo ay mga 10 or 20 yung inaayos.
• Make to the security officers known na hindi lang sila doon just for security. Kailangan i-ensure din nila na maayos ang pila at walang sumisingit. Kasi yung iba nakatayo lang doon, paikot-ikot.
• Ensure that cashiers are focused on the work at hand. It’s frustrating na tignan ang cashier na nagte-text bago ka i-service. Nangyari iyon sa akin. At tinanong ko siya kung ano ang mas importante yung text o yung trabaho niya.
• Create a system that will create the certificate. Kasi if tama yung nakita ko, ang daming programs yung ginagamit nila just to generate the certificate itself. Kung sana kaya na siyang gawin ng isang system, edi mas mabili ang training for new hires and mas mabilis din magagawa yung document.

Kaya masaya magtrabaho sa gobyerno kasi ang daming points for improvement at maraming project na pwedeng i-unndertake. Kaso, nakakatakot lang na baka ma-impluwensyahan ng kawalan ng budget o kaya politika ang mga gusto mong gawin.

So, pwede na ako magreklamo tungkol sa bayan dahil may proof na ako na nagpundar ako ng pera para dito? Pwede din naman na dahil bumoto naman ako nung eleksyon at hindi nanalo ang gusto kong kandidato?

Hindi ba ito din naman ang problema ng Pilipinas? Ang daming nagrereklamo pero wala namang maibigay na alternatibong solusyon?

Mahilig mang-oppose pero hindi naman makapagbigay ng counter-argument?
