6th Eng'g Week Win
IE Club vs KEM, Mixed (25-14, 25-23)
it was one hell of a match. KEM is our rival org when it comes to the Engineering Week so we expected a good game.
but, apparently, i was a bit mistaken. they do have hitters but, they’re plagued with errors. their girls aren’t as weak as girls from other teams. that was the story of the first set - errors. i actually had two service errors....

awake 2.5 hours before first class. i am such a slow mover in the morning. but, it’s a good thing i am able to wake up at 6am. i usually end up oversleeping.

i just finished dinner. i had five servings of rice.
the unusual thing is that i survived the day with two hamburgers and one piece of bread. considering the activities i do, that wouldn’t provide me enough energy to last throughout the day. i forgot that i also had choco mucho for some energy boost during dance practice.
with my present diet, there should be no wonder why i never gain...

i enrolled in an IE 197: Purchasing course last semester. now, i enrolled in an IE 198: Purchasing course to supplement the things i learned last sem.
the problem is, i have classmates who do not have a background in the said subject. naturally, the professor has to cover the basics and i have to sit through it again.

sometimes, these activists are very ironic.
to start off, i do not also approve of the budget cut. imagine what 1.38B pesos could help in the improvement of the facilities of the university. imagine the number of not-so-fortunate students that could help.
but, if you’re in the opposition of the budget cut, you might as well think of activities that would not endanger your own facilities....

5th Eng'g Week Win and 1st Eng'g Week Loss
IE Club vs Alchemes, Men’s (20-25, 25-11, 15-12), current record: 3-0
as expected, this is the team that will give us the best fight. they know how to play and play well. as usual, we lost the first set. this has been a habit for us.
the second set we had was the best set yet. we completely minimized our errors; thus, converting every play into a point.
the problem is, i have to step up...

IE Club vs Circuit, Men’s (25-20, 25-10), current record: 2-0
truth be told, i’m not ready for the game. the game time is 8am so i had to go to school by 6:30am because of rush hour traffic and other unexpected things. i also had to wake up really early because i move so slow in the morning.
being the assigned setter, i should always be awake and in really good fighting condition....

volleybagan action continues today. actually, the eliminations spans for almost two weeks.
IE Club vs ERG, Mixed (17-25, 25-15, 15-11)
from the get-go, i knew that ERG will never succumb easily. the only problem i have with our team is that we warm-up so slow. we need more time to get our engines running; thus, another first set loss.

Adobo Pasta
yesterday was our family’s November celebrants’ party! in short, food.
anyway, we had so much left from yesterday that we need not cook food for today. being the only one home to prepare dinner, i saw some spaghetti pasta and adobo inside the refrigerator.
